
At the YWCA Greater Milwaukee, the Women's Enterprise Business Incubator (WEBI) assists women and all people of color in developing successful small businesses by providing business technical assistance, business development workshops, access to office equipment, technology assistance, a T1 line, resource materials and conference areas. We work to help women own assets and initiate opportunities to enhance self-reliance through entrepreneurship opportunities. The WEBI opened in November of 1995 and is located in the heart of Milwaukee within the YWCA Women’s Enterprise Center. The program is located in a Business Incentive District (BID), Designated Development Zone and City of Milwaukee Enterprise Community.
The Incubator provides fully functional furnished office space for up to 25 small business tenants who operate service-oriented businesses, including accounting and business services, commercial land development, computer networking and consulting, pre-natal care services. cleaning, landscaping, home repair and training programs targeting youth and family development.
